The difference a considered advisory makes
Not every operations engagement is the same. Here is what distinguishes the way Aentis works from general management consulting or generic process templates.
Back to HomeWhat you get when you work with us
Specificity over generality
Every recommendation is written for your process, not adapted from a framework. We do not apply the same template to every client.
Written, portable deliverables
Process maps, findings notes, and implementation checklists — all documented and handed over at engagement close so the work persists after we leave.
Non-disruptive pacing
Sessions are structured around your team's operational calendar. We do not ask for significant time away from daily operations to participate.
Vendor-neutral advice
No commercial arrangement with any software provider or methodology licensor. Our suggestions reflect what we actually observe, not what pays a referral fee.
Measurable starting points
Before any changes are suggested, we establish observable measures so the team can track whether adjustments are producing the intended effect.
Confidentiality as standard
All engagement information is treated as confidential. NDAs are available before any substantive discussion if your organisation requires them.
Advisory grounded in operational experience
The Aentis team brings direct experience from within operations functions across manufacturing, professional services, and logistics sectors in Malaysia. This is not theoretical knowledge of process design — it is the perspective that comes from having observed what friction actually looks like at the team level.
- Industry experience specific to Malaysian operations contexts
- Familiarity with multi-language team coordination challenges
- Practical knowledge of what changes teams will actually follow through on
How each engagement is structured
Scope agreement in writing
Before any session, a written scope note defines exactly what will be examined and what will be delivered.
Observation and mapping
Sessions focus on how work actually moves through the team — not how it was designed to move.
Findings note and recommendations
A written document describing what was found, what it means, and what adjustments are worth considering — in plain language.
Handover and close
All documents transferred to your team. A final session to confirm understanding and answer questions.
A process that does not require your trust upfront
Each engagement is structured to deliver value at each stage, not only at the end. If you begin with a Workflow Review and find it useful, you can choose to continue. If not, you have a clear, written picture of one process and a short list of practical adjustments — for a fixed, predictable fee.
There is no expectation of an ongoing relationship. The work is designed to transfer capability to your team, not to create dependency on ours.
Fixed fees, clear scope, no surprises
All three engagement formats are offered at fixed prices stated in Malaysian Ringgit. There are no variable fees, no hourly billing, and no additional charges for producing the written deliverables. The price you see is the price you pay.
- RM 520 — Workflow Review (one session, written findings note)
- RM 2,480 — Process Improvement (four sessions, maps and checklist)
- RM 4,700 — Operations Excellence (twelve sessions, playbooks, checkpoints)
What is always included
- Written scope agreement before work begins
- All deliverables in transferable document format
- Formal engagement close session
- Confidentiality by default (NDA available on request)
- No ongoing relationship required or expected
Typical advisory versus the Aentis approach
| Consideration | Typical Advisory | Aentis |
|---|---|---|
| Engagement scope | Defined as work progresses | Written and agreed before start |
| Deliverable format | Presentation decks, verbal summaries | Transferable written documents |
| Vendor relationships | May carry referral arrangements | None — fully neutral |
| Fee structure | Hourly or open-ended retainer | Fixed price, stated upfront |
| Team disruption | Often significant, workshops required | Minimal, sessions around operations |
| Post-engagement dependency | Often requires continued engagement | Designed for team independence |
Features that are not common elsewhere
Current-state mapping as a first step
We map the process as it is actually running before any recommendations are made. This is not standard practice — many advisors begin with a proposed solution before fully understanding the current state.
Engagement formats that are complete in themselves
Each engagement tier is designed to deliver complete value at its own scope. The smaller engagement is not a gateway to a larger one — it is a complete piece of work in its own right.
Malaysia-specific operational context
Our advisory is designed for Malaysian operations environments — multilingual team dynamics, local regulatory context, and operational rhythms shaped by the local business calendar.
Coaching embedded in longer engagements
The Operations Excellence Programme includes team coaching so that the practices and review habits introduced during the engagement continue without requiring external support afterwards.
